1967 Colts 45 - 1984 Broncos 38

I tried. I reall tried. The 1984 Broncos just can't hanf against the 1967 Colts, an 11-1-2 team that is without question the greatest team to not make the playoffs.

The story of this game was basically two HOF QB's, both hitting on all cylinders, and carving up two pretty good secondaries in the process. The difference was that John Elway threw three interceptions, and Johnny Unitas threw none.

The Broncos scored on their first drive, giving them the only lead they would hold. The Colts countered, and then Elway threw a pick six to give them a lead they would never surrender. A number of times the Broncs would claw their way back into the game, only to surrender a quick TD drive, or, on one occasion, to throw an interception in the end zone. A final TD toss from Elway with 8 seconds left made the score more respectable, but in reality it was a solid Colts victory.
