1969 Chiefs 33 - 1971 Dolphins 3

Hank Strams "Offense of the 70's" demolished the not quite ready to be undefeated 71 Dolphins in a laugher. The Chiefs got up early and played old school ball control, and Mike garrett led the Chiefs backs with over 100 yards. Chief QB Len Dawson is terrifying - to everybody. He makes all of his throws with deadly accuracy - except for his shocking tendancy to throw interceptions by the bucketfull (adistressing 7.8% rate). It makes conservative offense with this team a must, especially with a lead. The good news is they have the running game and offensive line to do exactly that.
