Game Story | |||||
Kurt Warner had a huge game as the visitors from St. Louis defeated San Francisco by the score of 38 to 30. Warner torched the San Francisco defense for 428 yards and 3 touchdowns. Marshall Faulk rushed the ball 12 times for 70 yards scoring 2 times. St. Louis controlled the action both on the ground and in the air. They out-ran San Francisco 130 to 60 yards, and out-passed them 428 to 277 yards. St. Louis was on top at the half 21 to 9. They led after three quarters 24 to 16. A hightlight for San Francisco was a touchdown pass to Delanie Walker that gained 72 yards with 0:45 left in the 4th quarter. But in the end that fine effort was wasted.. |
