1998 Vikings 38 - 2006 Bears 28

Robert Smith of the 98 Vikings is an extreme example of a hit or miss RB. His fiorst run from scrimmage was a hit, to the tune of 74 yards. The Vikes running game was effective all game, both with Smith and Leroy Hoard, which was a good thing as Randall Cunningham struggled against the tough Bears pass defense.

Sadly for the Bears their QB is one Rex Grossman, and he sucks pretty badly. At one desperate point I benched Grossman in favor of Brian Griese, who missed a couple of passes and brought me back to sanity. Grossman did hit some early passes, and the Bears managed to cobble together 28 points out of these, some good kick returns, fairly effective running, and 145 yards in penalties against the Vikings. Still not enough. They closed to a three point deficit in the Fourth off a 2 yard TD run, only to have their back broken by a 94 yard KO return for a TD by Minnesota's David Palmer
