1968 Jets 28 - 1989 Giants 24

In all of my many years playing this game, rarely if ever have I made a catastrophically bad a play call as I did midway through the Third Quarter in this game. The Giants were up 17 - 7 over the Jets, and were at the Jets 32 facing a 4th and two. Raul Allegre is an erratic FG kicker at that range, so I decided to go for it. Thinking to be clever, I called a bootleg by Phil Simms, which was defended perfectly and blown up for a six yard loss. The Jets then woke up and rattled off three consecutive TD's after this, enough of a cushion to overcome a huge defensive breakdown with two minutes left as they allowed Mark Ingram to take a short pass 66 yards for the TD. A subsequent onsides kick attempt failed however, and the G-men go home, having blown a 17-0 lead against a team I really hate.
