1969 Raiders 24 - 1973 Steelers 20




Darryl Lamonica overcame 3 interceptions, and hit Warren Wells with a late game winner from 8 yards out with under a minute to play. The Steelers had stopped a late Oakland drive with an interception with @ 2 minutes left to go, but were unable to move the ball. The Raiders made them pay on their next possession. Erratic Terry Bradshaw only hit on 8 attempts, killing Pittsburgh drives pretty regularly

Game Story

Warren Wells was the star of the game as the visiting team from Oakland defeated Pittsburgh by the score of 24 to 20. Wells caught 4 passes for 120 receiving yards and grabbed 2 touchdown tosses.
