1969 Vikings 24 - 1985 Dolphins 19

Dan Marino went head to head against one of the best pass defenses in History, and the Purple People Eaters won. The Fish turned over the ball four times in the first half, and while the punchless Vikes couldn't do that much they were able to maintain a lead and play keep-away for the remainder of the game. The Vikings run defense got good yardage against the soft Miami run defense all game long, and erratic Joe Kapp hit just enough passes to keep a couple of key drives alive
