1962 Packers 38 - 1980 Eagles 17

The Eagles died game, but died they did. they were able to hang with the Pack through the First half, being down 14-7 at the break, after wretched Tony Franklin had missed a FG try for them late in the second quarter. They received the Second half kickoff and moved into GB territory, and things went to Hell. The Packers forced a fumble and returned it all the way to the eagles 1 yard line, then pounded it in for a TD. The Eagles struck back with their best play of the day as Jaworski hit Harold Carmichael with a 76 yard bomb, and it looked promising as the Eagles then picked off a rare Bart Starr misthrow - only to have Jaworski throw a pick six of his own. Jaworski threw another interception before the quarter was out, and this one was run back to the Eagles six, leading inevitably to another Packer TD. Another Jaworski interception finished off the Eagles hopes for good.

Live by the sword, die by the sword, as the old saying goes. The Eagles have survived in the tournament on their excellent deep passing attack, but the 1962 GB pass defense is freakin deadly - making this almost insanely risky. That said, when its really your only hope of upsetting a team that will otherwise crush you you takes yer chances. It didn't work out, and 1962 Green Bay wins the bracket.
