2002 Buccaneers 31 - 2004 Chargers 16

This score does not fully capture what a dominating stifling performance this was from the Bucs defense. Of San Diego's 16 points 7 came off of a pick six by Ben Leber at the beginning of the Second Half, and six were from a kickoff return for a TD in the Fourth. Aside from that a late meaningless FG was all that the Bolts could muster, as the Bucs held them to 11 first downs and 200 yards total offense.

The Buc's QB Brad Johnson was extremely efficient, and had a solid ball control type outing. If you want to call him a "game manager", well, OK. I always thought he was underrated and underappreciated. The Bucs running didn't do much, but Alstott and Pittman kept hammering, and set up Johnson well enough to keep the chains moving. This was a solid and convincing win for the Bucs.
