2004 Patriots 28 - 2005 Jaguars 14

The Jagwads proverbial coach turned into a punkin, but not before they threw a scare into the Pats. Byron Leftwich started the game blistering hot, and hit six straight to lead the Jags to a 7-0 lead. It was the last points the Jaguards offense would score, as Leftwich reverted to his norm after that, and the Pats scored the next 20 points and held a 13 point lead early in the 4th.

Tom Brady decided to make things interesting - by carelessly throwing a duck into the flat, which was picked off by Rashean Mathis and taken the distance for a TD. It was Brady's second pick of the day. On the subsequent series, Brady did exactly the same thing, throwing another pick into the flat, though this one was not returned. On the Jags first play Leftwich was injured, and David Garrard took the helm. Garrard seemed to ignite a fire in Jax, as they moved to the Pats 6 with 6 minutes left - and then Garrard threw a disastrous interception of his own into the end zone. The Pats moved out smartly, and then Brady made up for his careless play earlier by throwing a 58 yard strike for a TD to effectively close this one out.
